Hemp

Note: This product is currently out of stock as we recently discovered that our “Australian-made” producer was using imported product. The quality and transparency of origin of our food products is very important to us. We are in negotiation with a number of high quality producers in Tasmania and will be releasing a new range very soon!

Diana’s experience

Rose and Soul Pty Ltd are proud to be apart of a very old but now ‘new’ industry, which is environmentally friendly in every way.

Hemp is an amazing alkaline food and very easily digestable. It gives me essential vitamins and minerals daily; it’s high in magnesium, omega 3, 6 & 9, and iron.

I first started eating hemp foods after my surgery in 2012 and found them very gentle and nourishing and they gave me lots of energy. It is high in protein, helping to rebuild lost muscle strength and body mass. The CBDs were also very beneficial for healing; helping with the rebuilding of my immune system. The high magnesium relieves body cramps.

If you have suffered from arthritis or chronic aches and pains, a daily intake of hemp oil, hemp tea and hemp seeds, or a combination of the three, has demonstrated results for many of my friends.

I have fallen in love with hemp, it’s an amazing product, able to be utilised in so many ways.

Make any meal healthy – just add Hemp

Hemp amazingly contains more polyunsaturated fatty acids than any other food, and also contains Omega 3. Just one tablespoon of Hemp contains over 7,000mg of EFAs (essential fatty acids). Hemp is also a great way to get high quality gluten-free protein into your diet.

Hemp is naturally low in carbohydrates, contains 15 times as much fat fighting conjugated linoleic acid as fish oil, and is great source of cholesterol fighting phytosterols. It contains antioxidants, folate, calcium, iron, zinc and vitamin D3.

Saving the world is easy – just add Hemp

The evidence that food really matters is undeniable. Unhealthy foods have a greater effect on our planet than all fossil fuel powered vehicles combined.

Hemp is the most versatile and eco-friendly substance on the planet and is a sustainable raw material for other products as well as food.

Hemp has an astonishing amount of uses: food, fibre, fuel, fabrics, furniture, medicine, building materials, paper, bio-plastics – and the list keeps going on. This plant really can do it all!

Hemp removes five times more carbon dioxide from the air than the trees and is highly pest, weed and drought resistant. Unlike corn, cotton, soy, wheat and rice, hemp uses less water and doesn’t require pesticides or herbicides. It is more nutritious than all these others combined and isn’t plagued by their allergies. Hemp crops can even detoxify the ground and improve top soil.
